CDE: Christian Entertainment
Restoring God’s vision of dance
Vision & Mission:
CDE's mission is to bring heaven’s thoughts of dance before the world so that people may draw near and become more intimate with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
Currently, there are few opportunities for Christian dancers to successfully make a career out of dance as a form of worship, and consequentially, many Christians are forced to go into the secular entertainment industry and compromise their values. CDE’s passion is to help Christian dancers grow in their abilities to perform, minister the gospel through dance, and disciple others in Christ.
TeKi Stewart, founder of CDE, became a committed Christian at the age of 14 but experienced significant change and growth when she was filled with the Holy Spirit in 2014. Teki’s passion for dance began while she trained with several choreographers at local dance conventions. But she hit a standstill on a trip training in LA where she had to make a life decision: to pursue this industry her way or God’s way.
Teki’s favorite scripture is Romans 12:1-2 (KJV),
...by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
TeKi Stewart is a youth mentor, dance instructor, and choreographer from Dallas, TX, whose passion is to see dancers grow and develop spiritually as they dance for God.
Rachel Galfo, co-founder of CDE, is a compassionate, encouraging person who is always willing to help and reach out in any way she can. She began seriously training in competitive dance at seven years old and later discovered a joy in inspiring others through teaching. An avid student of the Bible, Rachel graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Mathematics. Originally from Titusville, FL, Rachel became a Christian as a very young child but began seriously following Christ while in college. She aspires to reach people through her involvement in the arts, functioning as a mentor and leader to all.
